We see charity gift vouchers as an innovative way to reward our employees and create a virtuous circle that helps everyone!

Research shows that people who volunteer are likely to donate ten times more to an organisation than people who don't volunteer. We hope to engage more employees in workplace giving through volunteering and vice-versa. This will effectively close the loop on the circle of giving by rewarding employees for whichever way they choose to give back to the community.

Every permanent employee will be eligible for one charity gift voucher per year. Charity gift vouchers are distributed on an annual basis to employees who:

a) Take one day of approved volunteer leave and submit their leave request. These employees are entitled to a charity voucher valued at $100; or

b) Donate money to charity through Positive Energy. These employees are entitled to a charity gift voucher matching their donation up to $300.

No. Employees are entitled to one charity voucher of up to $300 per year.

Charity gift vouchers will be distributed in June each year. Eligible employees will receive an email from GoodCompany with a link and instructions to use their charity gift voucher.

If you have donated through Positive Energy or undertaken one day of volunteering and registered your volunteer leave, then you should receive a charity voucher valued at up to $300. If you have met these requirements and have not received a charity gift voucher, please email the Community Team.

You can donate your charity gift voucher to any of the charities on Positive Energy charity projects or fundraising pages.

If you have been gifted a voucher, you can redeem by following these simple steps;

• Select your name in the top right hand corner
• At the top of your screen you will have a prompt advising of voucher
• Select redeem

You can also navigate to the left menu items and select Gift Vouchers, this will list all the vouchers gifted to you.

You have 3 months to redeem the voucher. If your voucher is not redeemed, it will be donated to a preferred charity partner.
